Project Unity: Unbroken Hydrology
Access to clean pathogen-free drinking water remains the foundational cornerstone of all subsequent community health operations. Dysentery, cholera, and typhoid absolutely cripple village economies because heavily symptomatic adults cannot harvest crops and severely dehydrated children cannot absorb complex educational concepts. In Project Unity, our explicit mandate was to entirely eradicate preventable water-borne diseases across five highly remote villages spanning deeply arid sub-Saharan regions.
In a coordinated logistical operation alongside local leadership councils, Mother of Mercy deployed 15 fully functional, heavily reinforced solar pumping stations bridging deep aquifer access directly to surface distribution manifolds, ultimately providing continuous clean water parameters to well over 12,000 residents while training local stewards on filtration upkeep schemas.
